SEPTEMBER 9, 2008 Primary Election

Dear Friends,

     The Coventry Board of Canvassers has decided to close three of the regular District 28 polling locations.  These closings are for the Primary Election only.

     Please check the list below to make note of where you should cast your ballot on Sept. 9th.

      In response to the town’s recent decision to close polling locations for the Primary Election, I will be providing rides to the polls for any District 28 resident who would like one.  Anyone interested in a ride to the polls, please call me at 228-4601.

 
The following District 28 polling places have been combined for the Sept 9th Primary only

If you normally vote at:
Christ Church or the Town Hall Town Council Chambers,
       then you will vote at the Town Hall Town Council Chambers  1670 Flat River Rd.


If you normally vote at:
The Community Center (Paine Field) or the Coventry Middle School (Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School),

                then you will vote at the Coventry Middle School (Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School)  9 Foster Dr.


If you normally vote at:
The Senior Center (Wood St) or the Westwood Estates recreation building,
        then you will vote at the Senior Center  50 Wood St.

 
No changes were made to the following polling locations.  These locations will be open as normal polling places on Sept 9th.

    MAPLEROOT BAPTIST CHURCH   150 Harkney Hill Rd.
    KNOTTY OAK VILLAGE HOUSING AUTHORITY   14 Manchester Cr.
    COVENTRY HIGH SCHOOL – NORTH   40 Reservoir Rd.
